Yeah, I'm like you Stan. Sometimes I can't remember where I put the tool I was just using 5 minutes ago. Memory is a weird thing. Just yesterday I took apart my toro snowblower because the plastic pinion gear stripped on the electric starter (again). Put all the parts in a plastic bag and labeled it "Toro snowblower parts" so I wouldn't lose them while I waited for the new gear to be ordered. Last time it was fixed (by a shop), they must have put a roll pin in the starter shaft to keep the gear on and I bent it during removal. I remembered having a small box of roll pins, could picture it in my head and went right to one of my many small parts cabinets and started opening drawers from the bottom. Lo and behold there they were (in the plastic box as I pictured it), in the 2nd drawer I opened. I bet it's been 10 or 15 yrs since I used them. Then I went looking for the plastic bag of parts to put the new roll pin in it. Took me probably 15 minutes in a 8x10 ft area of my basement to find it. As others said, I do crossword puzzles every day to keep my mind sharp, can't imagine what my mind would be like if I DIDN'T do them.
