To me, in my mess, I don't thnk it is age, the talking heads say the 21st century is too complicated for the 20th century human brain, we aren't 'evolving' as fast as the world around us. The idea that struck me the most, and I know it is my problem too, organization. It doesn't mater if you forgot you bought lubes last month, but like a parts picker cruising around a warehouse, if you went in the shed and saw it where is belonged, knew it was full, it would just click, and not even come up again. If you bury stuff, or like me, don't take it out of the bag and put it where it is kinda suppose to be, well, it will never end... got in the habit of not going grocery shopping unless checking the fridge, deep freeze and can goods before leaving, come home with less $ spent, and not over stuffing the shelves, which used to be more 'valuable clutter'. I have been trying to sort out everything in a sense of order, neighbor needed some stovepipe, I thought I had some. 10 minutes after he left, I'm walking down the road with 12feet of pipe from the last place you'd think it would be. But like chinese checkers, you need atleast one empty spot to move it to.... so the process continues.... don't think age- think spring cleaning!
