Hey Ray,you think you've had problems with Frontier? The neighbors switched to wireless internet on Feb 15,same day we did,so now they decided to loose the land line. She called Frontier and told them to disconnect it and send them their last bill. My wife said they got the last bill yesterday and it was over $7000. Simple decimal in the wrong place? You'd think, but they say no. First the story was that they'd been being charged 4 cents a minute for using their dialup internet since January. Then they said they had agreed to change to Frontier Internet in January and had been getting a service that cost $75 an hour. She called Channel 8 and told them about it. Frontier called them 10 minutes later and wanted to settle it. Said they had been switched to Frontier Internet on Feb 17 (keep in mind they got wireless from CMS on the 15th) and that they had been connecting to a number in Alma at 8 cents a minute. They said if they would just pay $135 plus a $375 disconnect fee, they'd "see what they could do" about the rest. I guess the message is,just keep paying the bill and don't try to end your service with them.
