Phil, I was not speculating on WHY dowsing works, but rather the idea that it works at all.
I don't need proof that the Pyramid of Khufu exists. I've seen it, I've walked on it and I've been inside it. In fact on clear days I could see it from my apartment in Maadi, where I lived in 1993.
On the other hand, I've seen no evidence that dowsing exists. I'm not going to waste my time speculating why something IS, when in fact it ISN'T. If you can prove otherwise, Randi has a million dollar check with your name on it.
