The Ipad can sync with any computer, And with a software called MobileMe it can sync to a phone as well. The MobileMe also enables it to store data from your iPad and automatically transfer it to your computer. I don't know if your wife got it. If not they have a trail for 60 days for free. Try it and see if you like it. They have every weather app imaginable for it. And if you want get on your laptop and the Itunes store and search for farming apps. They gotta have some.
