I just read it.The 7-8 sentence says that the ring gap is ONLY about 5 % of the equation.Thats not a big number
Not trying to pick a fight .Looks like we are back to harsh negative comments .
Like I said you guys can do it your way.I know what works for me.And it works well. Out of all the engines I've done. I think maybe two or three returned for a oversight on my part.Never said I was perfect.But got a real good track record.I must just be real lucky I guess.I'll be right back I 'm going out for a lottery ticket.Most come back from customers dumb installation mistakes .Like putting tin work on dirty or backwards flex plates ect.
BTW this whole thing started on my little CA engine.A engine I was putting back in service on a budget.Nothing has been mentioned about anyone elses engine.Totally different discussion .
