I used to watch for hauling on there. It has gotten so bad that I have not looked in over a year. The guys wanting stuff hauled for .50-1.00 per mile and then wanting it insured. I usually was using a semi and a fifty-three foot drop deck. The last haul I did was to a jerk over in PA that had a driveway that a pickup would have trouble with. He threw a fit because I would not put the non running tractor in front of his garage. Said he was going to cut my payment by half. I told him no problem. I would just drop the tractor back where I got it in WI. He saw the light and paid me what we had agreed on. I dropped it in his drive and left. I WILL NEVER go through this aggravation again. So if I need a back haul I go through a broker and get normal freight.
