That is a nice find, LP, the oil stays clean, probably still see the cross hatching in the cylinder walls. For what you mention using it for, perfect tractor to have, Select-O-Speed would be great for a 3 pt tiller. I grew up on and spent many hours on a 64 4000 S-O-S, cut, raked and baled with it, pushed snow, manure spreader, bottom plow and disc'd with it, had a gear for everything, just have to take care of that trans, regular maintenance mostly.
The only drawback with LP is the HP rating might be a tad less, and cold weather starting can be trouble, LP does not like to vaporize well at certain cold temperatures, though this one must have the factory LP tank and set up, I have an 850 converted to LP, I have to keep it in a heated garage, or it is hard starting and or to keep running. I now cover the tank with blanket, when running in cold temps.
