Here in south central Mn. in our heavy gumbo soil for you to pull 3 bottom with 170 you would need to pile on a ton of weight front and rear and set hitch on tractor and plow just right. If all you have to plow is 10 acres just try and find a 2 bottom. That way you can hook your tractor on the way it is and go.
