I should have been more specific I guess. You do indeed have two seperate pumps. One is mcv pump for tractor controls, power steering , ta , brakes and lube. Other pump is refered to as hitch pump and opertes hitch and aux valves. Part I was addressing was the no lift from the aux valves. Him telling me it would operate cyl until it needed to actually lift some weight tells me it is pumping oil therefore primed up , coming through filter etc but does not have the oomph to do the job. That is why I made suggestions I made. The power steering is a whole different matter . Could be weak pump, sucking air between tractor rear frame at suction tube or other mcv problems. I usually run warmed up system at maybe 1000rpm, cramp steering wheel and hold and if lube light comes on that will indicate a weak mcv pump.
