Yes. The only time we ever disced before plowing was to try to chew up corn stalks. Dad used to send me out with the AC WD or JD 50 and transport disc. I hated that because the plowing and fitting tractor- the WD45- had the remote. The WD didn't, and he never hooked the cyl. up on the 50. So when I hit a wet spot I couldn't chew through, it was crank up the ratchet jack. Same for transport to and from the field. I like now better. Chew up the stalks with a 15' batwing. Till with a disc/chisel and 200HP.
