Check out the covert. Fairly affordable compared to what's out there and I have one. Infared so there's no flash and they trigger from a good distance and take pretty good pics. Good enough to identify a dam thief anyway.

They also have a good battery life. I was getting around 1,000 photos at our deer lease and 8 AA batteries were lasting close to 3 months.
BTW, real sorry hear about your things being stolen. I have no sympathy for anyone who steals and I know how it feels to have things taken. Don't let it eat you up!
