Hydros have their place, in loader tractors. If you want to run a mower or plow, all day, your foot sure gets sore, holding down the foot pedal! That's why I prefer a gear tractor, for field work. I don't mean to sound like a know it all, but I also have about 25 years, running old and new tractors. Each type has it's place, but one thing I have heard from several places, is that kubota has been trading on their name, not their quality, for the past few years.
