I've got a 2755, too. the clutch got "jerky" when it warmed up. Finally got to where it wouldn't disengage. Had to do a clutch job on it last year after hay season. The throw-out bearing was worn out on the part where the lever comes in from the side and pushes on it. Finally went to pieces. Had 5000 hrs. on the meter and is a '86 model. But I don't feel any popping in the rear-end on it. Might be something completly different......
