Ether makes them rattle louder than fuel,there is no lubrication qualities in ether so the more ether you use the more the cylinder walls get washed off and dry. Get a mist bottle of fuel and add some engine oil to it, then squirt ether and fuel/oil mix at the same time into the breather..keep spinning 'er over and keep squirting untill she fires,then let off on the ether gradually..you need to get the cylinders hot and then it will start to 'diesel' and run. If you have good batteries keep 'er spinning as you squirt,once it hits it will help the starter and the more hits the easier the starter spins it until it starts to hit more and more..
