Service manager sent me out today to look at this Leland 270. Customer complaint was that the three point wouldn"t work. "Oh, by the way; last fall I tried it on my trailer plows, and it wouldn"t lift them with the remote either." Last summer he SAYS the three point worked OK until he broke a shift fork and it went to someone"s shop to get that fixed. Came back with no three point. Confusing stories; doncha love it!! I got there this morning, and the lift was up a little; at least it settled when I moved the main lever. Post hole auger was mounted. I could not get it to raise at all. I read the operator"s manual and I can"t see that I was doing anything wrong. No pressure at the remote couplers.I didn"t check an open hose to see if there was any flow at all. The PTO was engaged all through this. Is there any way to test just the pump? I tried to follow the instructions about linkage adjustment, but when I got to the part about adjusting the pin until it raised up all the way, I knew I had reached a dead end. I advised the customer to check on availablity of parts, and get gaskets and seals coming to allow me to pull the hydraulic unit with the pump and disassemble it for inspection. Does anyone have any other ideas?? I want to look at the suction screen and probably disassemble the pump to check for wear.

Sadly though all his efforts seemed to be a waste of time and money as he still couldn''t get the temperamental old thing to run correctly!! If i said that this was a little frustrating for him that would be "conservative" in fact the problem had reduce
