Saw an ad on craigslist for a John Deere manure spreader this afternoon and called the guy to talk with him about it. Being that he was close to where I live I went over right away. The manure spreader is a John Deere Model H Series 47. I also saw some other old equipment at his place and inquired if any of the other things were for sale as well. He told me that he had a John Deere Model 1250 Planter that he would be willing to sell. He said that the planter works well. He also had a John Deere 594 Hay rake.
So, we negotiated a deal.
The John Deere Model H Series 47 Manure spreader was $150
The John Deere 1250 Six-Row Planter was $75 and that includes extra seed hoppers, a bucket of plates and a manual.
The John Deere 594 Hay rake was $100 and that will include a manual and extra teeth.
Total for everything was $325, money well spent on some good looking implements.
I still need to pick it all up, but that will have to wait until I can find the time. Also the Planter will be used one last time for this season before I can go to get it.
Enjoy the Pictures! From Denton, Nebraska. Andrew Kean

I tried to use an easy out but it wasn't budging and I didn't want t
