Very articulate and well stated.... As someone who's living is based on the weather and as a member of the dominant species on earth who's life is based on the weather I agree with both your observation that the climate is changing and with the theory that human activity and carbon can influence weather. As to a direct link between atmospheric carbon and the current weather patterns, this Im not so sure about. Even if it is the case I dont know that its a bad thing. If its true it will be a bad thing for some people and a good thing for others.
As to weather cycles, we have a long history of global heating and cooling. Who's to say that all this hasnt happened before? That the carbon cycle is not a closed loop over eons of history? What I can see looking back over 43 years and anticipating another 43-50 years of productive life is a series of patterns in weather. Im much more concerned about conservation of resources, controlling toxic pollution in the air and water, and developing adequate and inexpensive energy sources rather than the increases in natural compounds such as CO2, NOn, and C in the atmosphere due to human activity. In fact, I subscribe to the theory that increasing levels of CO2 are beneficial to plant growth and the only chance we have of feeding an ever expanding human population is to increase plant production.

Amana Colonies served as a respite where we ate a family style lunch that sustained us with more food than could reasonably fit into our ample physiques. The show at Ankeny
