Well, back ion the days of WW II, that can of Spam tasted really good, sitting in a fox-hole in France! We'd heat the can of meat by putting some slits in the box it came in, and in the top of the can, too. Then we'd stuff the can into the box, and light the top of the box. It would burn down, giving off no smoke, and when the box was burnt down to the bottom-we had hot meat to eat! YUMMM! If we had been lucky enough to capture a live, or dead, German, we'd get his can opener, and use it on those cans! What do i eat now? A bowl of raisin bran, toast and coffee, all week, and bacon and eggs on Saturday morning! Must be ok--i'm 86 yoa, and still going strong!
