Good Morning Dave,
Sorry to hear that the day is off to a rough start. I sure hope and pray for the best regarding that little girls heart condition. That is sure a tough deal. As far as the cow, I had the same thing happen about three years ago, with a nice large Charloais cow. Thought of market or burger crossed my mind, but yet it was of no fault of the cow. Ended up rebreeding her for the next year, and she has birthed several real nice calves since. Now I'm glad I didn't cull her out. Hard call, but if you have the feed for her, and don't necessarily need hamburger or cash, I'd think about it before you make the final decision. Hope your rocky started day gets better quick. This morning as I watched the news regarding the tornadoes in the south, I realized the cold, wet, snowy weather we have here really isn't a big deal. Many others are in a much worse situation than me right now.

After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
