Had to chuckle at this threads twists and turns. "Facing your accuser"..The camera is only a TOOL,used to bring alledged violators before the Court to answer for their alledged violation. If you are too busy, too scared, too good to appear,YOU forfeit.Thats why they're called forfeitures. "Professional Drivers"...yep,the whole worlds out to getcha.I understand the problem of poorly driven smaller vehicles cutting you off, stoppin short etc,and agreee..however I quickly tire of the longer stopping distances myth.In fact,if you research stopping distances, you will find that on the same surfaces and at same speeds reaction and stopping distances are virtually the same for all properly maintained and operated vehicles from cycles thru big rigs. Lights/cameras/timers do need to be adjusted for speed of traffic.Has anyone here contacted the authorities in charge//regarding a "short light",or is your ire resolved solely by griping to your friends? Civilized society must have Laws, rules and regulations to prevent chaos, and they must be enforced by whatever legal means are necessary or they soon become meaningless. In our society the laws are determined by the people and can and will be changed as needed by our representatives.Don't take it for granted that they are aware of a problem, let them know, either personally or via petition/lobby. In short"The Law is the Law"and you as citizens are expected to obey it,until YOU and your peers change it. Whining is Useless.
