Hi Mike, You didn't say which tranny you have but I'll speak to the Turbo 350, which about 99% of 'em were. You say you have low, that means your forward clutch if fine; you say you have reverse, that means your high clutch is fine. It can only be one of two things: Either you have an apple-cored governor gear or your kick-down cable is stuck in the full "extended" position. Both of these things will cause your symptom. The governor is located at the left rear of the tranny under a cup-shapped cover that is held on with a wire snap lock affair. Pull it outta there and make sure the teeth are okay on the gear. If you should by chance have the turbo 400 tranny, hollar back and I'll walk ya thru that one too. My email is uncovered, Allan
