I measured the PTO shaft. It's 1-1/8 inch from inside of notch to inside of notch. Now, I'll go back to the color of the paint on the sheet metal. This Case looks to have been brush painted once upon a time. All of the sheet metal appears to have a nearly white (surely well weathered and faded by now) color of paint. I ask again, did Case use a desert sand like color on these model of tractors in this period ...'40 & '41? I bought a parts manual for the Va Series. Since Casepower believes its a VC, is the VA book useless to me? Also, is the VA IT Manual of any use to me with this tractor? --JPM
