Hi Myron,From the CASE library- (grin) HEAT REGULATOR VALVE: "Always close the radiator shutters completely when starting a low-cost fuel equipped tractor. Set the manifold heat regulator valve in the HOT position by pushing the lever to the right- (towards the rear of the tractor)- as far as possible. STARTING SWITCH: The switches seem to be the same part number for both the "S" series and "D" series- but the posts are listed as having different lengths. Here's both of the descriptions- The "S" series starter switch is Part # 04981AB, (screw 1/4" X 1/2" rhd. mach., N.C. thread. Nut- 1/4" hex., light, N.C. thread. Washer- 1/4" std. lock.) The "D" series starter switch is Part # 04981AB, (Bolt, 1/4" X 3/4" round head stove, with nut. Washer- 1/4" standard lock.) Talk to you later, -Schotte
