Make sure you check the cam follower pin while the cover is off. If it's worn replace it with a new one. Resist the urge to use a hardened bolt or anything else other than a replacement cam follower pin.

I need to add this. The pin is pressed in so don't just pound on it with a hammer or you'll damage or crack the housing it's in. use a metal block for support against the housing opposite the side you're going to tap on. Lots of info in the archives on this. If the pin is worn it'll have a notch in it. If it does replace it. I've read here that some people just turn them to the new side but that's a false economy. They're cheap.
