First thing you should do is to put the little lever under the seat pointing down. This will put the lift in "draft" mode. The lift arms should go down all the way in draft mode and allow you to hook up the box blade.

If this allows the lift to go down like it should then the linkage inside the lift housing needs to be adjusted so that the position or height mode will go down all the way and come up in increments.

I sell a booklet with illustrations and a feeler gauge to use to get the correct measurements on the linkages and the kit includes a new cam follower pin/dowel that is usually worn out and needs to be replaced while in there to make adjustment better.
