I got almost the exact tractor. Mine did not move either. Mine was the torque limit clutch. Had to split the tractor. It's a small, 7 inch or so clutch plate that is right behind the flywheel. I didn't have any pressures because nothing was turning, when I hooked up the gauge in any gears. I had to get a used clutch plate. There were a couple different spline numbers so count the teeth if you have to get one of these.

Get a manual you'll be glad you did. Also theres a release lock on the left side just under and rear of the seat. This releases the rear wheels so the tractor can be move when engine is dead. I found out a little late about this on the SOS. We had to skid the tractor up on a trailer. Keep us informed of your project bjr

If you have moved the tractor with ... in reply to bjr, 02-26-2007 18:59:10
the engine not running and the rear wheels turned then your disconnect lever that bjr mentioned is in the "freewheeling" position. With no hydraulic pressure present the SOS goes into Park. If the engine is not running there is no hydraulic pressure in the SOS and the rear wheels are locked.
