Saw your postings on other hydraulic questions. Please provide any advice on my situation. Ford 820, rebuilt motor, runs fine. Rebuilt hydraulics, ran fine. Both done by separate shops since I don"t have the tools nor time myself. Recently the hydraulics started lifting only partially. If I move the draft lever up and hold it, the lift moves to full extension. The last time I used the tractor a couple of weeks ago it started making a noise lifting and lowering. It sounds to me like hydraulic fluid bypassing a small orifice. I suspect a leaking or broken seal or o ring. The hydraulic rebuild is less than a year old. Is this common or should I seek repair from the original shop? I have no idea how long such repairs and restorations should last. I would think longer than 30 hours run time.

Thanks for any and all input. I will be returning home Thursday and can work on it Friday. B. B. Stanfield III, KC5PIY
