You have a couple of choices where to hook it up. If it has a spool valve with "In"and "Out" ports you will need to get an adapter plate from Tisco that goes between the lift cover and the accesory plate which is located in front of the tractor's seat. This adapter plate has "Pressure" and "Return" ports in it.

If your loader does not have a spool valve on it you can hook the hose directly to the accesory plate. You will then need to chain down the lift arms on your 3PH and use the lift control lever to raise and lower your FEL.

The cylinders only have one port because they are single acting cylinders. Hydraulic pressure extends the cylinder (raises the FEL) and the weight of the loader collapses the cylinder (lowers the FEL) when the hydraulic pressure is removed.

What is recommended? I don't wnat to wear something prematurely but i also need to keep in mind how much any solution might cost. ie front pump vs the solutions you detailed. I do not have the set up infront of the seat that you mentioned and only have an open and close valve on the hydralic line.

If you have an 800/801 it has the accesory plate in front of the seat. It is about 3" X 5" and is held to the lift cover with 5 bolts. There is a pipe plug screwed into the middle of it. Remove this plug and attach your loader hose in it's place. Chain down your lift arms (this will divert hydraulic pressure from the lift cylinder to the accesory plate) and use the lift control lever to raise and lower your FEL.

The only reason the accesory plate would be missing would be because someone has installed a spool valve in it's place. If this is your situation then you are in luck. Just hook your loader to the spool valve and use it to raise and lower.
