I believe I have one of those.
Bought it in pieces in a box at a farm auction.
Recognized it as typically a Ford style valve.
No one else did. Got it for a couple of bucks.
One of the spools is there but out of the body of the valve. Tip was broken off where the screw in handle engages it. Might have been a good valve. Didn't seem like a very robust design to me. Found little or nothing on Google about the valve or the company. Couple posts on YT is all.
I would not buy one unless it was very cheap.
Should put the one I have on Ebay as a parts only unit.
One of those things you gotta get around to some day.

Jeff, Maybe I didn't say it right.
If I remember correctly the spool was actuated by a screw which is tapped into the handle. That screw pushed/pulled the spool by means of an eyelet machined onto the end of the spool. The eylet was broken, had been welded, then broken again.
I could identify yours easier with a pic of your actuator point.
They might be good valves other than that weak spot. If I had one I would work the handles gently. awtx,
I know where the valve is - 110 miles from here, under some other junk, in a box, in one of my storage trailers.
There's 2' of snow on the 600' drive to get in to the trailer. Can't drive and aint walking in there. Spring is around the corner. Contact me in a month or 6 weeks.

Yes, that sounds like mine too. The screw-in post looks like a grease fitting w/o the hole.

I could see, w/ the handles out in front, an accidental wrong step could pop the tip off the spool.....probably why Ford designed theirs w/ the side handles.

Jeff

The tip of one of the spools in my AICO valve has been broken off and brazed back on. I am interested in buying either your complete parts valve or one spool. Send me an e-mail please.

You mentioned a broken tip where the screw-in handle engages it....mine doesn't have a screw-in handle. The handles seem to be one-piece castings.

Take some pics if you get the chance....

Jeff
