Anyone know Brian Vickers of Nebraska? Getting hold of the guy seems to be impossible, short of taking a trip to Nebraska. I bought a wheel, 34 A JD round spoke, on eBay that supposedly he had in his possesion, paid him $150 to deliver it to me in Az. It has been 4 months, can't get him to return calls, or emails. How many people has this guy been living off of? I would say 99.9 percent of the people I have dealt with on antique tractors are HONEST, TRUSTWORTHY, and above all raised in the old school. This guy doesn't even have the decentcy to call me back with yet another story of "I'll be there in the next week or so". If I get my wheel, I will eat my own words, and maybe this guy will sleep better at night knowing he did the right thing.

You can see one of the old messages about Vickers was from me. I see that sometime in the last couple of weeks that his website doesnt come up anymore.
It is a shame because one person can give everyone else a bad reputation sometimes.

I've never met the man, never been contacted by him. Whenever there is refernce to him it is with a long list of broken promises. He was supposed to haul a wagon from my place 2 years ago. I have since resold the wagon. Then the fiasco with Steve's G. Don't waste your time looking for him in Nebraska. The Sheriff can't find him.

I talked to his brother at the Waverly NE show, and he said that he did it to himself, and he was selling stuff that was not even his to sell. The way it sounds he is pretty much out of the tractor world.

He used to post almost daily over on Rummey's board bragging about what he had just bought or sold.Seems he dropped off the screen around the middle of Mar.after some questions arose about his "integrity" Probably operating under another handle,or company name by now.

Jerry,

I got had by Brian Vickers and have attached the link below. Turned it over to the Cass County Nebraska Sherrif and have given him all the details. Also ran it through our local Sheriff in Tennessee so he's on the Interstate Fraud list back here. Gave him every benefit of the doubt but got totally fed up and turned it over to the authorities. If anyone needs to get ahold of the Sheriff in his home town--I have included it in the attached URL. Thank goodness NebraskaCowman had the patience of a saint as he held the G from January to almost the middle of June when he really did need the barn space.

Good luck--I lost almost $800.

Steve

Here is another string of issues. Forgot to attach this to the previous post. Facts are facts! An almost $800 lesson learned the hard way!

Brian sent me a check for two D John Deere's. I told him he could not have the tractors until the check cleared. Two days after the check showed up, he was at my place with this song and dance about being in the area and some other sad story. He refused to do anything about the hot check. I turned it over to the county attorney. He spent two days in jail before he decided I meant buisness. Post his seller Id. Leave feedback on the Feedback forum on this site. Do anything you can to let people know what a low life he is.
