As the original poster of the topic I have to admit I was venting out of frustration and should know better to be around the computer when I'm like that. My main frustration was with the way that particular dealer treated me once he had his (my) money and for what it's worth, there is a Case/IH dealer that doesn't get any more of my money because he "doesn't have time to deal with a little guy" like me. I don't expect the world out of these guys, just a fair shake. Since that posting I've visited another JD dealer who literally bent over backwards to help me correct the issues I was having with my 3020. I happy to say now that with the CORRECT parts in my carb it runs much, much better. This dealer charged me a mere $25.00 compared to $400 + of the original dealer. Another issue I found which I don't know was a contributing factor or not was that the ground polarity had been switched to a neg ground but the coil hadn't been switched around. I apologize for any feathers I may have ruffled and hope to continue to learn from this forum.

I don't know what the answer is. No sense turning on each other when dealers have a bad attitude and drive away business. Our local Deere dealer was outstanding, but when they closed and we had to go elsewhere,we were treated like a red headed ba***rd step child. Felt like we were being told "step back from the counter,we have our own customers to serve". It wasn't the fault of their regular customers, but the whole experience left hard feelings and a bad taste in the mouth. We switched brands just to get good service and a feeling of being welcome.
