can stop the squealing by backing off the lift but still when i put levers to the down position arms dont come down

I agree with big dean the hydraulic pump has no filter to stop crap getting in and sticking the control valve. you can buy a massey ferguson filter kit .it gives you all you need to fit a filter to the pump . there is a metal plate in the kit which you use as a template to drill two holes in the filter housing to accomodate the anti oscillating pins on the control valve sleeve. hope this info helps regards hutch p.s the 35 was one of the best tractors made.

did you try moving the fast slow lever on the transmission from slow to fast then fast to slow maybe 3 to 4 time it worked for me .The levers beside the seat have to be down for this to work that's what I did and if you get it to work make sure the lever close to the seat stays about 2 inch's from the back because if it goes back any farther it will be in the constant pump which will make a squealing noise.There should be a stopper for the inside lever.

The response control on the 35 is on the control quadrant .the 135 is on the right hand sideplate (where the dipstick goes.
