Wipe the grease off, take it in to Tractor Supply and compare to new. They may even have a rebuild kit; dunno if there is such a thing but it's worth a shot.

My ORC had a good bit of slop in it so I replaced it. But in response to the rebuild kit, I don't believe so. I took the old one apart just to see, and there is nothing in it that can be rebuilt - no bearings, bushings or anything like that. Just two flat springs, two ratchet pawls, the female end for the tractor's PTO shaft , and the outer housing. I'd hoped for something to rebuild, but alas I just had to break down and buy a new one.
