Give it a couple-three years you'll be sailing throught that MPC.....
One hint, look in the back on p. 212 which is the alphabetical index. Look at 'pump, water' and see the part number is 8501. You got that and the year of your tractor and you are pretty much home free. NH and most parts houses can get you what you need. If you want to get down to it then look back up in the book for the 8501. The numbers are more or less in order and often near the illustration.
You need a mason jar for the air cleaner which is what that wire bail gizmo is all about. You can get original looking jars or you can get one at the hardware store in canning goods or you maybe you have something laying around the place.
12106 is the 'distributor housing', look over on p. 152. Parts diagrams/lists/books take some getting used to and if this is your first parts book you're going to need to give it some practice. Study the table of contents, look hard at the stuff in the back 20-pages or so, and try to get a feel for the madness.
It's an excellent bet and very most certain that if it has a genny it's 6v.
