running perpendicular to the deck before you get the spacing correct and the deck level. The axle would fasten to the blocking. Might take a couple short planks under the deck, one longer than the other.

That is a 5th wheel wagon platform truck. It has a steel bound wood deck.

That what i needed. The name helped alot. I had searched under
-Platform truck
-baggage cart
industrial cart and wagon
-material handling
-etc etc
Any way most of the searches were coming back for 5th wheel truck hitches for a trailer...but I found one that is real close from northern tool that gives a good picture. If you have a better scource let me know...Thanks alot

That"s blocked clear off the axle, front and back.

You"ll find more under "fifth wheel wagon" including some historical stuff about draft horses and teamsters so you might see pics of some of the older trucks.

I didn"t look at all of it but that looks like the key search terms.
