Could you or someone else please post a picture of this elusive bowl vent. I have heard a lot of talk about it here but find no real picture of it"s exact location. I finally drilled a small hole in the top of my carb to act as a vent ant it helped tremondously but it is not the right "fix" either.

The Vent is in the upper section of the Carb. The
small holes in the wall near/above the throttle also part of the idle system.

Someone posted,on this board, a detailed Manufactures instructions & diagrams ~ 6 mo ago,
around the time you had you problem(I think it was John T )

I will look for the file on my computer and post
if I find it.

Wish I could but I also are not sure where it is othe then in the air intake area of the carb. I had a carb that did the same thing years ago and we got a new/rebulit carb and I layed the old corb to the sdie and now it works just fine. I guess after sitting for a few years the rust/dirt dried out and the vent now works.
