In todays paper they had the King Kutter boom pole at TSC for $89.36. If you buy one, you will use it more than you think. I've loaded my 6' brush hog & 5' box blade on the trailer with it. Lots of uses for a boom pole.

Poot, I went to TSC this morning and looked at them. There were about half a dozen of the $89.36 poles outside, but one of them looked like a last year (or 2 years ago) leftover with some flaking paint and surface rust. I told the guy if he'd discount it that I might buy that one. He gave me 15% off, so I bought it. I saw a larger one at Rural King earlier this morning for $159.00 and it was HEAVY. I'll most likely get a used heavy duty one later on at an auction.

Thanks everyone for the input. Now I gotta put it to work...

One more thing.... in reply to Poot, 04-05-2007 19:12:51
TSC has a "30 day No Hassle Return Policy". Get one, try it out, & if you don't like it, take it back.. & it doesn't cost ya a dime! I'll bet you'll keep it though!

I was originally going to build one but then
I happened to go in to Fleet Farm a couple of years ago and the same KK boom pole was on sale for $62.95 so I bought it.
For that kind of money you can hardly buy the steel and pins.
I agree with Poot. Get one and you'll be surprised at how much you use it.
