Here in Central Texas, where a hundred thousand people a year are being addded to the population, a loader is a deal-maker. ANYTHING that runs and has a loader will bring 5-6 thousand dollars.Anything with a loader that is fairly new, not worn out, and well maintained brings 10-12 thousand. There's just so much construction work going begging, contractors and sub-contractors will pay that price to get a loader to replace the one they just killed because they "didn't have time to do the maintanence," and replace it NOW. The housing boom may have tapered off elsewhere, but not here... (And, just try to get a road built, a roof put on an existing home, or plumbing or electircal repairs done in a timely fashion!) In contrast, a good running 9N without a loader seems to bring more like $1500-2000, with excellently restored examples fetching $3000-3500 or so, which I gather is much the same as elsewhere.
