If you have a planishing hammer, a hand body hammer, dollie and a small torch, you have everything you need to get that dent out. I personally do not do the heat and cool quickly deal, not enough control. The way I would do this is "trap" the excess metal with the hammer and dollie. To do this warm the metal slightly and work from the outer edges in, going all the way around. What you are trying to do is get all the excess metal into the smallest area possible. You may have to heat and work, heat and work. Do not over heat, orange is to hot. When you get it into a small area, heat only the dent and wack it down on top of its self. Use the dollie to back up the hood and quickly drive the dent down on top of its self. Do not over work the dent or you will stretch the metal again. Do this with the metal warm to hot. At this point you should be be able to go back to the planishing hammer and work out the wrinkles. Good luck, This will work just take your time.
