If you don't read anything else, read this from a professional painter and the proprietor at autobodystore.com. It should make you think twice before playing russian roulette with isocyanates.

You should also read the very fine print on the can labels attached to cans of hardeners and other additives for ingredients and safety instructions. If still unsure, or want additional information, get the manufacturer's Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for the material or additive. Those are usually available on-line for most name-brand paint products at the manufacturer's website. The MSDS will provide detailed recommendations for the safe use of the product.
