I have a WD and a WD45 head would it be a better idea to shave and put bigger vavles in on of them? Again any help is appreciated. Thank you

I thought the heads were flat. Other than make sure the head is on a flat plane and not warped I don't see a benifit. Look at the ports to see if one of them has a better shaped runner in the intake and exhaust. Some other guys on here should give you a more definitive answer soon though. I'd go with the larger ports and larger valves as long as you don't shroud the valves. It's my opinion that you can't get too big a valve as eaisly as you can get too large a runner to make if function properly. The valve is at the end of the tract. You may not utilize the big valves if you go too big but I don't see it hurting unless you shroud them with the cylinder wall or combustion chamber. Thats how I see it until I get better info to the contrary.
