OK - I have a bunch of questions.
1. What is a crankshaft key? I know the cog can only go on one way on the crankshaft, is that the key?
2. When you say 09:00 position, I"m not sure I"ve got it. The engine is on a stand upside down. Is the 09:00 position opposite the cam side or on the cam side?
3. For the camshaft, what is the offset drive slot? Is that the slot on the camshaft itself (same side as the cog)?
4. It is a bolt on camshaft cog so I think that is pretty straightforward, but we need to align the dot that is on the cam cog with the notch on the camshaft itself. Should the dot line up with the notch in the camshaft?
5. Could you further expand on the relationship between the distributor drive slot (like what it is) and the crankshaft key?
Hey, I appreciate your patience. I"d really like to get this knocked out this week, and this line up thing is the last hold up. v/r Tony
