A local store had some antifreeze extender on a close out. Bought it all. This was like a concentrate. I figure regular not premix is probably still 50+% water. So if they quit carry all this water all over the US how much would it drop the price of antifreeze. Water at the house is cheap

If you do not have a source of distilled or demineralized water. Go with a quality pre-mix. That tap water may look pure but it's always saturated with something. The minerals in the water are bad enough but to make things worse they find some metal in the cooling system to react with and make even a bigger mess.

Have to wonder why people pour water from the tap into a rad when distilled water is so cheap?
