I agree with Luke about the Kubota's, I would also look at McCormick if you have a dealer nearby. I bought a MTX120 2 years ago and am happy with it. I think the cab is a little better(more room) than deere and mirrors, training seat etc were included not add on options. I think they all make good tractors now, but I believe 5000 series are a cheaper version, but it all depends what you will be doing with the tractor....Jim

I just purchased a 5203 and like it very well so far. From all the research I have done these appear to be very reliable and dependable tractors. The Deere dealers say they have very litle problems with them and they have sold tons of these in the last three years or so that they have been out. I was somewhat afraid of the 5000 series because of some of the stories I had heard about some of the early ones that had problems. I have a neighbor that has a 5300 that has been beat up and has about 3500 hours and has given very little problems.
