The others have pointed you in the right direction. A couple other small points that might help:
- Most of the A/B series had the serial plate on the seat bracket but a few of the earliest had it on the shield below the pedals, at the front of the platform. Look there too.
- Most of the A/B production had matching engine and serial numbers (numeric part only). So if it has the original engine, it is likely the engine number matches what the serial number plate said.
