hello,i have a farmall tractor that i dont know what model it is or what year it was made. description:4cyl.,gas,uses magneto not distributer, three wheels only-not two small wheels in front but only one in front,The guy i bought it from said it was either made in 1938 or 1939 but he never knew what model it was.The closest tractor i have seen that looks similar is a BN but it had two small wheels in the front where as mine only has one. if you guys could direct me to where i might find a tag i could tell that way-so far i havent been able to find one.The tag on the BN was underneath the seat-however mine doesnt have one there nor is their evidence that their ever was one(no holes or discoloration) I dont know of any other place to look so I was wondering if they put the model or serial #'s on the block or cast them in somewhere?? this tractor runs good but is missing some governor linkage to the carb so i have to run it by using my fingers to control engine speed. It also has clutch problems-were hoping that something just came loose and needs to be reattached. if you guys could give me some as to what model this is or to look for a tag it would be a great help... thanks for your time and effort...schramm...
