IH carb on a 51 Cub Put in the rebuild kit runs pretty good. As long as you accelerate slowly. Quick move forward and she stalls every time. I noticed gas bubbling out very slowly from the gasket. Took the carb apart again and it looks like at one time the carb had been put back together without a gasket. Now when the two halves come together the spots farthest away from the screws are still apart far enough that the gasket does very little if anything. Is it possible to bend it back straight or should I try and grind it flat again ? Thanks in advance for any help !
