I just bought a 300 row crop a few weeks ago in nonrunning condition- it was a good deal though. The tractor has the "battery under the seat" setup, with the pto lever on the right, and the TA hand clutch lever on the left... which makes it a pain in the butt to get on or off the tractor. From a saftey stand point, the setup is rather confining if you need to get off the tractor in a hurry. My question is has anyone modified this setup so the pto lever is on the same side as the TA hand clutch? I'd like to add a saginaw 3 point hitch, and it looks like the pto lever will have to be modified. Any input would be helpful. thanks
