My 504 is not a high crop. It is the standard row crop model with a 5 speed trans. with torque amplifier. This tractor was purchased new by my grandfather in 1962. I purchased it at his estate sale in 1986. Dependability has been outstanding on this tractor. My grandmother gave me all of the service records on this tractor and it has never (yes NEVER) been in a repair shop. The engine oil has been changed every 100 hours and the rear end oil changed every 500 hours. Other than minor tune-ups,(spark plugs, points, etc.) the tractor has had no money spent on it. I use it daily to pull a feed wagon to feed cattle and use it off and on to mow weeds and haul manure. The tractor is 39 years old and started today at -6 degrees without ether or being plugged in. I highly recommend a 504 Farmall to everyone.
